Partner Migration

If you have a spouse or partner who is an Australian citizen, you can also apply for a partner migration visa with your spouse as the sponsor.

Main application requirements:

• Both parties must be over 18 years old

• Must have a legally recognized marriage relationship, or have lived together for more than 12 months

• Healthy and with no criminal record

The temporary partner visa is valid for 2 years. If you are still in the marriage relationship after 2 years, you can apply for a permanent residency visa.
